The General Syndicate of Yemeni Social and Psychological Specialists inaugurates in the framework of the project to provide water, sanitation and hygiene services in the most affected sites for the displaced (Dharan – Al-Raqqa – Zarqa) in Hamadan District, Sana’a Governorate and funded by the Humanitarian Fund YHF, the first cleaning campaigns.
With the participation of the community in the most affected sites for IDPs affected in Sanaa Governorate (Azraqen camp), the campaign was implemented with the participation of the displaced. According to the cash-for-work mechanism, where IDPs are involved and motivated in camps to participate in hygiene and solid waste disposal campaigns.
The Syndicate continues in the coming days to continue sperm campaigns in the hosting sites for the displaced in the two districts of Hamadan (Raqqa and Al-Sawad) (Darwan) as part of its preventive activities against the Covid 19 virus.
Hygiene and prevention tools for the Covid 19 virus were distributed to the participants in the campaign and sensitized to the prevention of the Covid 19 virus and the dangers of waste and its effects on the spread of diseases and epidemics, and safety and sterilization methods have been used.
Where the campaign was implemented in coordination and supervision of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, local councils, camp leaders and the host community, and in coordination with the Sanitation Office in the Sana’a Governorate.
