YGUSSWP launched the implementation of shelter upgrade within of implementing the project of Improve living conditions by provision of NFIs, Emergency Shelter, Rental Subsidies for the most vulnerable people in Hamdan & Bani Hushaysh of Sana’a governorate and with funding from the Yemeni Humanitarian Fund YHF

402 families were targeted from the most vulnerable families

Tents, sandbags and timber were distributed to rehabilitate the damaged and damaged shelter tents

Plastic sheet, sandbags, timber, Sisal Rope and Nylon Rope were distributed to rehabilitate the damaged shelter tents according to the need for each shelter based on the technical and technical evaluation that included the evaluation of the shelters for 402 shelters inhabited by 402 displaced families in the camps for the displaced in Hamdan and Bani Hashish. The project management received words of thanks from the residents of the camps It included (thanks to God Almighty and humanitarian efforts in the project to Improve living conditions by provision of NFIs, Emergency Shelter, Rental Subsidies for the most vulnerable people in Hamdan & Bani Hushaysh of Sana’a governorate ). Rains did not enter our homes this year.

This activity comes in response to the call for help from the displaced people in the camps after the damage to their shelter due to climatic changes, such as wind and rain.

This activity included awareness-raising and outreach activities to prevent COVID-19

And when carrying out the activity, measures and means for prevention were taken, such as the use of masks and sterilizers to limit the spread of harmful viruses and were distributed to the beneficiaries.
