YGUSSWP’s Community Center for IDP’s in Sana’a Governorate, with the support of UNHCR, distributed shelter assistance (NFIs) to 253 most vulnerable families as part of the Protection services project, shelter / NFI assistance, and site management and coordination activities for the targeted people from UNHCR in Yemen. This emergency humanitarian response came to alleviate the suffering of the displaced and the most vulnerable host community in the Bani Hushaysh district, where the displaced expressed their gratitude to YGUSSWP and UNHCR for their efforts in helping them.

And during the distribution, some activities and services were provided, such as case management, psychological, legal and social support activities, and awareness regarding the outbreak of COVID-19 virus.

The distribution was attended by the representative of SCMCHA in the district, representatives of the community committees, the local authority in the district, the community center team in Sana’a governorate, and CCCM Team.
