The project progress : Provision of Protection activities in selected most affected district in Sana’a governorate ( Bani Hushaysh district ) funded by YHF –OCHA
During the period from October 2018 to June 2019, vulnerable people total number who benefited from the humanitarian protection services provided by the project reached (2733) beneficiaries,(1817 IDPs,916Host Community ) distributed as follows (515 men, 1088 women,539boys, 591 girls)
the project provided humanitarian protection services in the community center as :
A)Assessments and consultation:
#1437 people were assessed. (292Men /509women / 293Boys /343girls ),Rapid Protection Assessments: #3 assessments were conducted
- B) Protection Cash assistance: cash assistance humanitarian protection services were provided to #240 vulnerable cases (111Men/124Women/4Boys/1Girls)
C) Case management and response (civil documentation, child protection and gender-based violence GBV ):
# ( 1025 ) people provided by case management humanitarian protection services , this involves
1-Civil documentation and legal consultation (894) cases : (98 Men ,348 women ,220 boys, girls220 ) receiving final civil documents (ID+ birth Certificate )at case management system and coordination of civil status authority. .
2-93 cases (90 women , 1 boy 2 girl ) through case management were provided by psychological support sessions, legal advice , , and cases were provided by multi-sectorial cash assistance for services referral .
Child protection Case management: tracing and reunification;
3-UASC ,separated children & alternative care: #38 ( 21boys, 17 girls) were identified and inter child protection case management monitoring processes at CC providing first-aid services, psychosocial support, counseling for alternative care families, and providing cash assistance to arrange alternative care for them.
D) Resilience and community support; livelihood support :
#4 community initiatives have been launched ,
#31 beneficiaries were provided by livelihood income development humanitarian protection grant.
1380 beneficiaries were provided by awareness session that involve livelihood ,IDPs rights , IHL, human rights law, child care , child protection , MRE
