Coronavirus has exacerbated the dire situation of IDP hosting sites in Yemen

Maintaining personal hygiene reduces the risk of spreading diseases, including the emerging corona virus.

To meet the need to improve the general hygiene of the IDPs in the hosting sites in Sana’a Governorate, the Syndicate distributes approximately 353 hygiene kits and 353 Covid-19 kits in the IDP camps (Azraqin – Raqqa – Dharawan) Director of Hamadan funded by YHF

In light of the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) around the world and in the interest of the safety of the displaced, YGUSSWP distributed 212 Covid-19 kits.

The third phase of the Darwan camp and 212 bags of disposable hygiene bags, the fourth stage, provided  by UNICEF.

Distances of at least a meter and a half have been set between beneficiaries and social distancing to take precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus

The awareness teams also educated the beneficiaries during the disbursement process.

In addition to educating them about the complaints and suggestions mechanism.

This comes within the extension of the activities of the project “Providing Water, sanitation and hygiene Services in the most affected IDPs hosting sites (Alazrakeen–Alreqqah -Darwan) in Hamdan district Sana’a governorate ” November-December 2020 funded by YHF
