# Within the indicator of community projects and livelihoods, YGUSSWP, funded by the NRC, conclusion a training activity on Maawezs weaving. Since “Maawazs weaving” is still considered one of the most important traditional textile industries in Yemen, as it maintains its splendor and presence as part of the popular heritage, and a strong economic tributary. 15 Of IDPs has been targeted from the Altarbiah site – Amran district, who support their families, in order to train them in this craft industry and provide them with machines and sewing tools that enable them economically to improve the standard of living at the displaced hosting sites.
