As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable displaced households, #YGUSSWP, with generous support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (#YHF_Yemen), successfully completed the sixth and final round of unconditional emergency food cash assistance for 56 displaced households in Al-Abdiyah District – Marib Governorate.
Over the course of six consecutive monthly rounds, each beneficiary
household received cash assistance of USD 100 per round, totaling USD 600. This
support helped families meet their essential food needs and mitigate the impact
of the humanitarian and economic challenges they continue to face.
The completion of these assistance rounds marks an important milestone
in the humanitarian response, providing beneficiary households with a reliable
source of cash assistance that strengthened their ability to cope with the
challenges of displacement and enabled them to secure food with dignity
throughout the project implementation period.
