As part of the project:
“Provision of integrated multisectoral lifesaving support through CCCM, Shelter and Protection services to vulnerable IDPs and host community in Khayran Al Muharaq, Ku’aydinah and Washhah at Hajjah Governorate,”
and with generous funding from the #YHF, #YGUSSWP concluded the final phase of the Non-Food Item (NFI) kit distribution by reaching IDP households in Khayran Al Muharaq District.
This phase targeted 200 IDP households across 14 IDP sites, including: Al-Hazah, Al-Sarabah, Al-Dhanabah, Al-Dars, Al-Qaniyah, Al-Karawi, Al-Mudeirah wa Al-Qatariyah, Al-Maghsal wa Al-Haffar, Hawsh Al-Mahad Al-Taqani, Sooq Al-Muharraq, Shu’abat Al-Sadat, Al-Aridh, Qa’em Al-Sabrah, and Wadi Masrooh.
The distributed kits included: 1,380 mattresses, 1,380 blankets, 400 buckets, 400 sleeping mats, 200 kitchen sets, and 200 energy kits equipped with fans and lighting—designed to meet the essential needs of IDP HHs and support their resilience amid difficult displacement conditions.
This distribution marks the completion of a comprehensive intervention implemented in the districts of Ku’aydinah, Washhah, and Khayran Al Muharaq, targeting a total of 400 IDP HHs across 25 IDP sites in Hajjah Governorate; in total, 2,800 mattresses, 2,800 blankets, 800 buckets, 800 sleeping mats, 400 kitchen sets, and 400 energy kits were distributed.
This intervention reflects the commitment of #YGUSSWP and the donor, #YHF, to providing effective humanitarian assistance and ensuring access to basic life-saving support for the most vulnerable.
