#YGUSSWP, with generous support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (#YHF_Yemen), has completed the disbursement of the sixth and final round of unconditional emergency food cash assistance in Al Abdiyah District, Marib Governorate, targeting 125 of the most vulnerable households.
This round marked the final phase of a
humanitarian intervention implemented over six consecutive rounds, during which
each beneficiary household received USD 100 per round, amounting to a total of
USD 600 per household throughout the intervention period.
This cash support contributed to helping
beneficiary households cover part of their basic food needs and provided them
with greater flexibility to prioritize their needs according to their living
conditions, amid ongoing economic challenges, rising food costs, and limited
opportunities to access stable sources of income.
This intervention is
implemented under the project:
"Provision of Integrated Life-Saving,
Multi-Sectoral Protection, CCCM, FSAC, Health, and Nutrition Services Response
for IDPs, HC, and Returnees in Al-Abdiyah, and Al Bayda city Districts."
