Amid the worsening humanitarian situation and rising rates of malnutrition, life-saving nutrition services remain a critical lifeline for children and women in Al-Abdiyah District – Marib Governorate, where many face the risk of hunger and its severe health consequences.
With generous support from the Yemen
Humanitarian Fund (YHF), #YGUSSWP continues to provide essential nutrition
services to ensure early detection of malnutrition cases, deliver appropriate
treatment, and follow up with the most vulnerable groups, including children,
pregnant women, and lactating mothers, alongside providing counseling and
awareness sessions for caregivers.
These services go beyond treatment; they
represent a real chance for life—helping a child gradually regain health,
supporting a mother in protecting her child from the risks of malnutrition, and
restoring a sense of reassurance for families living under harsh conditions.
This intervention is part of the project:
"Provision of Integrated Life-Saving, Multi-Sectoral Protection, CCCM, FSAC, Health, and Nutrition Services Response for IDPs, HC, and Returnees in Al-Abdiyah, and Al Bayda city Districts."
