With generous support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (#YHF_Yemen), #YGUSSWP implemented the second round of emergency food cash assistance for 300 displaced households in Kushar District, Hajjah Governorate, through unconditional cash transfers.
Each beneficiary household received $100 under the unconditional cash
transfer programme, which consists of 6 monthly rounds. With the completion of
the second round, 4 rounds remain to continue providing food assistance to the
beneficiary households, helping them prioritize and meet their needs according
to their individual circumstances.
The implementation of this round reflects the project’s continued
commitment to supporting displaced households with food assistance and easing
the pressures they face amid declining access to food and limited available
resources.
