To ensure continued food assistance reaches the most vulnerable displaced households, #YGUSSWP has completed the disbursement of the third round of emergency food cash assistance to 300 IDP households in Kushar District, Hajjah Governorate, with support from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (#YHF_Yemen).
Each household received USD 100 under a six-round monthly unconditional
cash transfer programme. With three rounds completed, three more remain to help
households meet their basic food needs according to their priorities and living
conditions.
Beyond financial support, this assistance gives households greater
flexibility to identify their food needs and make purchasing decisions based on
their circumstances, helping ease living costs and strengthen their ability to
cope with displacement and limited resources.
This intervention is part of the project:
