As part of the project:
“Enhancing Shelter/NFI, Protection, and Site Management
Services for IDPs in the Sana’a Hub – 2025”,
and
with generous funding from the #UNHCR, #YGUSSWP has launched the implementation
of the NFI distribution activity, targeting 349 IDPs HHs in Hamdan District –
Sana’a Gov.
The
distributed kits included: 2,033 mattresses, 2,033 blankets, 698 sleeping mats,
698 water buckets, 340 kitchen sets, 340 solar lamps, and 698 mosquito
nets—essential supplies aimed at improving the living conditions of IDPs HHs,
supporting their ability to cope with the challenges of displacement, and
safeguarding their dignity and health.
Beneficiaries
expressed their gratitude to #UNHCR and #YGUSSWP, affirming that this
assistance came at a crucial time and contributed to alleviating their daily
suffering, especially with the onset of rains and the additional risks and
health and livelihood challenges they may bring.
This
humanitarian intervention is part of #YGUSSWP and #UNHCR commitment to ensuring
access to the essentials of a dignified life and enhancing protection for IDPs
HHsin displacement sites.
