Amid the challenges faced by displaced
children in accessing a suitable learning environment, #YGUSSWP, in partnership
with the Norwegian Refugee Council (#NRC) and with support from the European
Union Humanitarian Aid (#ECHO), implemented a project to rehabilitate
classrooms and provide school furniture for Al-Noor School in Al-Hazm IDP Site,
Dhibain District – Amran Governorate.
The project contributed to creating a more
conducive learning environment for students by rehabilitating classrooms and
equipping them with essential school furniture, helping to ensure the
continuity of education and providing children with a suitable space to learn
and acquire knowledge.
This intervention reflects the importance
of investing in children’s education as one of the most effective ways to
protect generations affected by displacement and provide them with a better
opportunity to build a more stable and hopeful future.
This activity is part of the project:
"Improving
living conditions and supporting durable solutions for displacement-affected
communities across Yemen. "
